作為基督徒傳揚天國喜訊是義不容辭。九年多前，Paul Yeung 與幾個人開始了以大眾傳媒作為福傳的工作，實在值得高興及支持的事。本人雖不在多倫多，但我非常常欣賞一群教友的行動與構思，在北美華人天主教團體裏開始了這樣的福傳平台。可能是華人教友的積極支持，義工的投身參與，其發展有目共睹，從其事工可看到上主的祝福。

然而，當喜訊能夠透過不同渠道接觸人心時，魔鬼便出來倒亂。當我第一次聽道FLL出現問題，我有點不敢相信和感到惋惜及可悲；幸好，亞Paul及義工們能為福傳、見証大局著想，亦為了保持與教會的團結共融，除忍受種種壓力外，更發展成為「華人聖職牧民協會」的其中一個事工，可喜可賀。

最近，當我看到亞Paul及FLL被人指名道姓打壓時，一方面我為亞Paul 感到開心，因他為了傳揚基督的訊息而受到迫害，在這情況下的福傳，一定會有好的成果；另一方面也想到：當人著眼權力時，往往會將傳揚福音的行動在觀眾前變成了反見証。將福傳變作營商，以現今商業社會的處事方式而不以基督的精神來推動福傳事工，這實在非常可怕。福傳是沒有專利的，或許，我們需要反省耶穌在若望要求他禁止一位不與他們一起的人驅魔時的教訓：「不要禁止他，因為沒有任何人，以我的名字行了奇跡，就會立即誹謗我的，因為誰不反對我，就是傾向我們。」(谷9：39-40)

認識到生命恩泉除了發展福傳事工外，工作人員也有靈修性的祈禱聚會，這才是真正的福傳，值得嘉獎與支持。但願FLL永遠是A ministry formed by a group of Chinese Catholics, and won’t become an organization. 福傳是基督徒的使命，不是有空時才做的工作。

Thank you FLL, and my full support to Paul and team in any circumstances.

他們在被創傷中、被塗黑中、在受迫害中，他們憐憫人 (他們關心華人社團的共融、教會的合一、教友的需要，原諒他人而不存忌恨，慷慨付出自己而不考慮回報)。他們心裏潔淨、飢渴慕義 (他們向聖神祈求指引，讓上主介入、領導他們)。他們締造和平　(平靜地考慮別人不同的觀點)。他們神貧、哀慟、溫良 (從軟弱中靠主挺立)，他們在恩典為義而受迫害，他們正氣長存！加油！孟子說：天將降大任於斯人也，必先苦其心志，勞其筋骨，餓其體膚，空乏其身，行拂亂其所為，所以動心忍性，增益其所不能。

The buttons represent a symbol of hope for all to see why we as Christians celebrate and give praise to God for sending His Son to save mankind. I am taking them down to Trinidad as gifts for the people in the parish where I will be attending Mass while in the island. Wearing the button is a visual way of evangelizing and spreading the Gospel message of “Peace on Earth; Goodwill towards men”.

We definitely need FLL for evangelisation and testimonials in the Chinese population. FLL lives out and helps others live out their faith. They offer the message of a living and “lively” faith with “love” which God commands us to do. FLL holds the mission from God to convey and strengthen the message of Faith, Hope and Love to whoever believes in Him shall live in. It makes “life” come alive!

Just want to share this past Sunday’s gospel reading which was from Luke 21, in particular verse 12-13:
“But before all this happens, you will be seized and persecuted; you will be handed over to the synagogues and to imprisonment, and brought before kings and governors for the sake of my name and that will be your opportunity to bear witness.”

支持由Paul Yeung帶領FLL團隊繼續傳揚福音。願我們能彼此包容、尊重，把天主的旨意以不同的方式行在地上。

I like the programs and the DVD you have produced, they are inspiring and would help the spiritual and personal developments for Catholics and even for non religious people.
Well done, keep your good work, may you keep guiding by Holy spirit, and God’s joy, hope, peace and presence be with you at all times!

One year, I finally managed to attend the Gala. It was the first time I saw Paul Yeung, the face of FLL. He showed himself an genuine and enthusiastic gentleman. His speech was powerful and persuasive. He urged all lay Catholic to help in spreading the God’s message, in order to help more people to know God and return to God.

The following year, 2010, when I spotted the ad in the same church bulletin of a TV production workshop by FLL, I jumped to it right away, dragging my reluctant husband along.
I don’t know why I insisted on joining, albeit our full-time workload and busy schedule with other activities and commitment. I would say it’s God’s calling.

After the Workshop, we stayed on in the TV production team. Apart from on-going technical training, FLL organized retreats and faith formations for its volunteers, to clarify and harden our faith.

I got to know Paul better, and saw that he is humble, full of wisdom, yet extremely kind-hearted. I also witnessed how hard Paul and his small team of staff/volunteers had worked to produce the weekly episodes for viewers to enjoy and ponder. I was grateful that God had chosen me to be His tool. I will soldiered on with Paul Yeung and the Fountain of Love and Life team to spread His words.

我還清晰地記得在十月十五日（星期二）早上十時多，我和 Paul 及 Bonny 正在 Ryerson 大學參加一個有關慈善機構法例的研討會，妳請妳的大兒子打電話給我，邀請「生命恩泉」在妳的殯喪彌撒中扶靈，我和 Paul 即時答允。20 分鐘後，妳的大兒子再打電話來說，妳在聽到我們的答允後，不久便安然返回天父的懷裡。我們聽到妳的消息後，心情沉重但非常感恩，知道妳一定會在天堂繼續祝福「生命恩泉」。

在此特別感謝何婆婆的家人，他們在何婆婆出殯的前一天仍親身以行動支持「生命恩泉」，一起參加「主與我同行」。「生命恩泉」整個團體都被何婆婆和她家人的支持感動！

生命恩泉事工及義工們請加油，支持你們，也請支持生命恩泉的朋友為他們祈禱吧！願上主垂鑒我的意願，求主府聽我禱。

My husband joined as a volunteer at once and I haven’t until a year later. I heard two words in my prayers: “”Say YES!”" These two words kept coming back until I signed up and became one of them.

Under the spiritual and patient guidance from Paul Yeung and other supportive FLL volunteers, I helped to organize one Gala and two evangelization events (EV) for FLL in Vancouver. Seeds were sowed to the non-believers and home comers. We were chased to produce the next EV once it was finished. God blessed the volunteers and the attendants. His mercy warmed our hearts!

The whole time, everyone appreciated my endless giving, but when I looked back, God surprised me. I received more than I contributed. I learnt to stop; I learnt to listen quietly; I learnt to speak slower; I learnt to respect; I learnt to wait; I learnt to accept differences in opinion. This is a good test for me to aware, accept, truly understand and practise on these daily life virtues to love.

I would not make these shifts without participating in volunteering in FLL. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Paul Yeung and his team.

May FLL flourish by bringing changes in people’s lives. May God grant abundant graces and blessing to our honest, humble and genuine leader, Paul Yeung, so he can continue to lead FLL team as a good shepherd. May the Holy Spirit strengthen all FLL volunteers with courage, faith, hope, wisdom and love to face and receive every trial joyfully because truth triumph evils at the end! Alleluia!

Lastly I like to share with you the scripture from The Letter of James Chapter 1, verses 2 to 4.

Perseverance in Trial: Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. And let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

FLL has brought many people closer to God, and is a great method of evangelization, sharing everyday stories with non-believers through different media sources. It is a great ministry and needs to continue with its wonderful work.

如果節目不幸夭折，實屬可悲，亦非華人天主教徒所願意見到的。
在此，我衷心感謝生命恩泉各位員工的努力和無私的奉獻，更祈禱上主眷顧，讓生命恩泉跨越苦難，繼續福傳事工，發光發熱。

員工義工們，Just Pray & Stay Calm, Because God won’t let you down. He created FLL because He wanted FLL to exist in the Catholic communities.

So I won the contest (!!) and was invited to sit at what I think was the first Gala, where I got a certificate.

But after that, I left. Well, not like the prodigal son, but more of a slow separation. Like hot soup going cold. My family went to mass and left, and I never really had the urge to go back to FLL.

Fast-forward to the year 2011, and I was going to regular mass with my mom at Blessed Trinity, where I met a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is advanced in age, and wanted to see if I was interested in joining him, to pass on his insurance clients and presumably his position in the council in the future. I wasn’t sure, as I was in my 3rd year studying Design, which has no relation to insurance or buying tickets for a car raffle. I joined the Knights anyway, because he is a nice old man and what they did was charitable and important and I might be able to help (with…uh, anybody need design?…). It was in one of the monthly meetings where I met Brother Tony, also known outside as Uncle Antonio Tang: “Hey, you are in Graphic Design? Did you know there’s a Chinese organization called 《生命恩泉》? I think you have a chance to use your skills there!”

I told him about the FLL logo, and by then he HAD to introduce me back.

I remember meeting Paul Yeung for the first time; we were at the top of the staircase on the said I was like the lost sheep, and they finally found me. That statement was eerily accurate; I have to admit my faith wasn’t exactly burning at that point. I met Vince, and they showed me how they combined the graphic of my logo, and the stylized Chinese characters of his.

It’s funny the way God works; FLL was and now is again a big part of my life. I strongly believe God is using FLL as a way for me to live in Him; this place is like a shelter to nourish my weak faith. FLL is a way for me to walk with Christ.

Vince gave me my first task back in 2011, the inaugural Scotiabank Walkathon. I still remember giving him more trouble (so many questions) rather than helping him. He was patient with this newfound “little brother” and kept me an opportunity to keep producing art with FLL.

I am now a year away from graduating, and I am starting to get more involved with FLL work. FLL was always open to me, and the best thing I could do is to give back to the people who have received me so warmly. I want to do my best for this wonderful community, and I want to spend more time with the people who have made this such a wonderful place. 《生命恩泉》 is a safe haven for this Me of Little Faith to grow in the love of Christ.

The personal experience of each of the interviewees in the production speaks for themselves the greatness of God. There is no boundary for this, be it in Canada, in Hong Kong or in the rest of the world. FLL’s work reminds many who have gone astray to consolidate and to be back on the right track, following closely the steps of Jesus. Viewing the programmes give us renewed encouragement, inspiration and courage to face our own challenges. The truthful and concise capturing and recording of the holy experience of each one in the production is a very worthwhile and successful attempt. The professional production, the intimate personal sharing, the attention to each minute detail in the FLL programmes is a just piece of art for God.

Thanks again to the FLL team. And thanks to God for gathering this group of talents within His plan to start off this project. I look forward to their continued efforts in producing more inspiring programmes for the Chinese communities in every corner of the world.

Hence I feel quite discouraged by the current events surrounding FLL and it makes me wonder: Is our church a hypocritical church? At the end of every mass, the priest tells us “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.” and yet in reality it seems some ministers hoard that power or freedom. Do lay people really have no freedom or right to evangelize? In a church where the pope encourages unity and compassion and inclusiveness, it seems some of its ministers are doing the opposite. How can the lay catholics’ voices be heard if they are repeatedly silenced?

Frankly I can tell you I am not someone with strong faith. However I do believe actions are stronger than words. I do believe that He is watching us. May He bless all who strive against the current, to do what is right, in His name, and help us to spread His love, even when it’s entirely against the odds.

這九年，不單令我靈性上有所增長，亦令我在待人接物上，成熟了很多。面對放在我們一個又一個的挑戰，我深信我們必能跨過。《生命恩泉》就是一個大家庭，每個人都會彼此照顧，彼此關愛，我們深信天主的軛是柔和的，擔子是輕鬆的，只要信賴天主，我們將可見到天主美麗和圓滿的安排。

一班華人教友在多倫多正被另一個天主教媒體機構剝削他們向華人團體用媒體做福傳的權利。

請大家支持在加拿大一直以《生命恩泉》名義作媒體福傳事工的兄弟姊妹。

I hope the following message from Pope Francis would shed some light on the issue and hope that the bigger Church Structure would not block the way of others who wants to seek the truth and use the freedom to love others.

想一想教會內的虛偽：給我們帶來了多少損害啊。那些經師和法利塞人是善於詭辯的虛偽的人、沒有才智的知識分子，因為他們沒有找到天主、睿智地解釋天主的智慧，以至於把天主的子民引上了一條不歸路。

瑪竇福音中經師和法利塞人公開宣揚他們施舍、祈禱和守齋。而耶穌教導門徒們的卻是施捨隱而不露，你的父在暗中看見，必要報答你。 特別是經師和法利塞人的虛偽，他們給信眾強加了一大堆戒律。耶穌說，你們不進入，也不讓別人進入。是沒有良善的偽道士、不懂得什麼是良善。那些偽道士，他們給你定了一大堆的戒律，但卻沒有良善。

如果與天主的關係中也虛偽，我們就離違背聖神的罪不遠了。這些人不懂什麼是美、什麼是愛、什麼是真理：他們是渺小的、惡劣的。讓我們想一想教會內的虛偽：給我們帶來了多少損害啊。上主，求你憐憫我，我是罪人。這才是我們每天要祈禱的，深知我們是罪人，但有具體的罪，而不是理論上的。這才有助於我們走另類道路，不同於虛偽的道路。而虛偽是我們每個人都面臨的誘惑。但我們也有恩寵，來自耶穌基督的恩寵：喜樂的恩寵、虛懷若谷的恩寵。虛偽不懂得什麼是喜樂，也不懂什麼是寬宏大度、什麼是虛懷若谷。”

FLL 不只有不停地去做做做，他們也很顧及各義工靈性的成長。我看到他們的 core team 是以人為先，而不是為做而做。

在此感謝天主再給 FLL 一個機會和恩寵去見證福音，以愛還惡，再沒有被這更大和更有力的見證。祈求聖神繼續帶領他們，鞏固他們的心，使他們喜樂地奉行天主的旨意。

I think I helped FLL to record my first radio clip back in 2009 August and have been recording one clip every summer that I come back. Throughout these years, I can see how FLL have grown both professionally and spiritually. That year in particular, I still have the vivid memory that the heavy rain ceased for a few hours just for the FLL golf tournament. FLL is truly blessed with God’s abundance grace.

Whenever the opportunity arises in Hong Kong, I voluntarily act as an advocate for the richness of resources that FLL has produced to proclaim the Good News and to foster Catholic values to my friends and my church group.

May God continue to bestow His blessings and grace to FLL, the fellow ministry workers and volunteers. You are not just serving the immediate Chinese Catholic community in Toronto or North America, but around the world. “

I wholeheartedly support your way to spread the message of God. Please know that FLL belongs to the voice of Chinese Catholic in Canada. I believe that God is with us.

At first I thought the programs would be mainly focused on the bible teaching in the traditional teaching manner. Once I finished watching the whole series then I realised how wrong I was. We can feel the love of God in our daily lives! The theme of each episode is so full of God’s love and with His love He guides us to live our life to the fullest.

Had I not went to the FLL website to find out more about FLL, I wouldn’t have guessed that it had been the work by some of the most talented and dedicated Chinese Catholics in Canada who sacrifice their free time to make these amazing television series. Keep up with the good work!

As we entered the FLL office, I could not help but notice the genuine smiles of all who were there. It was obvious that these smiles were not plastered onto their faces, but rather, they were the product of hard work, enthusiasm, and sense of accomplishment achieved by all 125 members registered for the walk.

The three buses pulled in front of the office at 6:30am. The rush of excited chatter followed everybody onto the bus. I was able to get onto the wheelchair accessible school bus. At that moment, I was greeted with an overwhelming sense of inclusivity; it was the textbook definition of team spirit. I felt like I was part of a very large family, one that transcends all barriers and disagreements.

As the buses cruised down the highway towards our destination, I could see the early rays of sunshine set in the background of a picturesque sky filled with beautiful shades of purples, pinks and oranges. The sunrise perfectly complimented the tranquil atmosphere of the relaxed group. This sublime backdrop highlighted by its simple grandeur became etched in my mind, even as the buses slowed down, and dropped us off in front of the Direct Energy Centre to start our walk.

Our group started the event shortly after 8:00 am. The most memorable parts of the run were the numerous interactions that we experienced. Conversations arose with other participants from both FLL and other charities taking part. These human interactions solidified our intentions to spread the word of God, both as individuals and as part of a greater community.

Dressed in our blue FLL shirts, we walked east on Lakeshore Boulevard and then turned north towards Nathan Phillips Square. When we crossed the finish line, exhilaration was paired with an overall sense of satisfaction that went beyond the walk itself. The greatest fulfillment for me was that FLL was able to reach its fundraising goal of $150,000, and knowing that these funds would be used towards ongoing evangelization.

When we returned to the office for a post-run party, we were in even greater spirits than the morning. After lunch, many of us shared feelings that we experienced during the event. The harmonious mixture of these feelings from the heart with the eloquence of words spoken from the mouth was synonymous with the overall atmosphere that was present that afternoon. It was this final moment of feeling like a family that accentuated the overall team spirit and camaraderie that was largely prevalent throughout the day.

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon event drew over 25,000 participants from 60 countries. Our tiny group of 125 was like a single raindrop in the vast Pacific, but somehow, this family felt like so much more. Congratulations to everyone!
